Gentoo/Linux on my iBook G4 (II)

Yeah... Installed base system, Xorg, firefox, thunderbird, and now I am using the firefox under iBook to type this entry, and GAIM is under compilation!
All the function keys works, suspend/resume, cpu fan, temperature, all works!

Gentoo/Linux on my iBook G4

After looking for many documents, I have repartitioned my iBook's harddisk and reinstalled OSX on it. For the other partition, I installed the latest gentoo 2005.1, after installing gentoo, can't boot to OSX... but solved by using the OSX CD to recover it, my gentoo has nothing yet, will do it later, nice dual booting iBook.

Home computer crashed

Install DesktopBSD for fun, it wrongly recognised my extended and logicial partition, after installing it, and making some updates, I tried to reboot the computer and then...
All my Linux partitions gone!
By using gpart, I can only rescue my root partition and swap partition, all the home directories gone...
Next time, when install new OS, remeber to backup the data!
