強戰世界

放工去了睇“強戰世界”，簡單來講，可以話係“明日之後”的外星人版本。
強大的外星人侵略地球，無堅不摧，看到後半段我已經在想，點對付外星人呢？
唔會又係怕水或者太陽，然後死晒呀嘛？ 點知...係怕地球的病菌，病死晒。
之後睇番原著(1898年的)，原來同原著真係一樣，哈哈，唔知好定唔好。

New toy - USB audio device

This afternoon after lunch, went to shopping in shopping arcade in office building, found a funny toy - USB audio device, only $68, tried, quite nice under ALSA driver!

Desktop is working fine

Can print, UTF-8 locale OK, even has firefox+svg support now, seems working fine.

Another problem of my desktop

I can't print thing!! Even cups is installed, and so do foomatic, gimpprint, etc. strange! Let me due with it later.

Locale problem on my desktop

After 3 days of emerging, finally I have GNOME 2.10 with some useful programs installed, but I found that SCIM 1.3.1 seems dropped the support of non-UTF-8 locales like zh_HK.Big5-HKSCS or zh_TW.Big5, this is quite confusing in the beginning, but now, after some trials, I modified my system locale to zh_HK.UTF-8 and I can view and type chinese correctly.
